The Lake Michigan Fleet participates in three championships through the summer; Boat of the Year (BOY) Buoy, BOY Port to Port and Best on Lake Michigan. The Best on Lake Michigan championship was created by the fleet to encourage participation from boats outside of the Chicago area since it is focused primarily on the major regattas. This series is governed by our fleet and awards are presented for the top five boats at our annual End of Season Fleet Party.
