Welcome to The Lake Michigan First 36.7 Fleet Website!

With over 250 hulls manufactured and sold in North America since its introduction in 2001, the Beneteau First 36.7 is the fastest growing One-Design Fleet in North America. Designed by Farr ®Yacht Design and manufactured by Beneteau USA in Marion, South Carolina, the First 36.7 is the perfact balance between performance and functionality.

The Lake Michigan fleet currently consists of 29 boats.  Headquartered in Chicago- the fleet competes in a One-Design Buoy Schedule as part of the Lake Michigan Sail Racing Federation (LMSRF)-Area III.  The winner of this series receives the title of Chicago Fleet Champion.   Championship Racing events such as the Colors Regatta, Chicago NOOD, The Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac and the Verve Cup host competitors from beyond the Lake Michigan area.  The Series winner of these events receives the title of Lake Michigan Champion. You will find the boats competing on any given weekend during the summer with One-Design starts.
